I would suggest Sphosting.com . I have been using them for about a month and they are the greatest free web space provider i have come across.

Jimk551, how long do you estimate it to be before you place banners on your members' pages or close up shop?

-> Unlimited Traffic/Hits
-> Unlimited Bandwidth
-> Unlimited Uploading/Downloading
Don't you just love it when hosts say the same things in different words to attract people? That's advertising for you :p.

I dont really think the URL length matters. most people go for url redirect subdomains anyways.
(why do we always have to pick on someone/something anyways?)

You've noticed this? Heh, well I suppose just like anything else, people tend to look for the dark side of things. What's wrong before what is right.
I will say however, the feaures listing 'shorter URL' isn't quite accurate. You naturally think, "Shorter than what?"

Yes, but that url means there's a good chance that they're using a script like Janet or Janetpro, something easily hacked, because they're free.

yeah, but were not using any SCRIPTS, we use our OWN SERVER.
Forget Scripts that you have to go through all this BS before you actually get to make your webpage, or scripts that use those file managers via webbrowsers that after 1 minute of non-usage, it automatically closes you out forcing you to re-login again and again...
So we will not use scripts...it will be ad-free but it will also be FTP Client supported (maybe Frontpage 2000) too.
==================
domain names? yes we might do those too, still bit of a fuzzy picture, but we may do this for a low-fee

Domain Name Account = http://www.your-domain.com

Anyone wanna go thru the predictions based off the past?
I am willing to bet that within a few weeks one of four things will happen.
1. Will bog down and be too slow to access.
2. Will run out of space and stop taking new accounts.
3. Will get his first bandwidth bill and close the doors.
4. Will get first bandwidth bill, actually be able to pay it, but decide to place ads and limit his services.
However it goes, he will learn that what he is offering is limited time whether he likes it or not. Same story as the last 1586 unlimited everything hosts to be started up over the past 365 days. At least he's not claiming he has an unlimited hard drive.
And jimk551, I'm not knocking your services, I just dont think you fully understand what you are getting yourself into by even saying the word 'unlimited' on your site.

jimk551: how do you explain to keep your service running? Do you think people are going to donate to your service? Are you going to get a loan? Haha, I could picture you (or someone of your likeness) to go into a bank and say "I want a loan so I can lose all my money and have to declare bankruptcy."
