From the thread "Haha where are you guys from?"
This thread is going to be really stupid when you all change your avatar. It begins...
Giancarlo
August 5th, 2001, 22:41
No, Ike is a good leader... I just wanted to put him on there. This thread had no influence what-so-ever on my decision to replace my previous one. The flag I had for weeks.
Giancarlo
August 5th, 2001, 22:43
And, it started long before I changed my avatar... many people who replied in this thread changed them before me.

the flags were dumb anyways. ike's probably better

Ike was a great leader for this nation... so I have great respects for putting him up. The US did very well during his two terms. Progress unmatched until Reagan.

If I'm not table tennis (ping-pong = wrong) then you are Spanish....resident in Argentina.
Why then do you refer to the united states of america as 'this nation'?
I see why you care about these guys though - if they suffer so do we (the rest of the world).
Are you studying US politics or is that just a hobby?
So many questions!

I am Spanish-American with American Citizenship, my mother is Spanish, and I am also of Italian descent since my father is Italian-American.
Another thing is my Dad works in U.S State Department, in the high ranking position of first consulate.

They seem to think America is the only country in the world.
Which reminds me...
A friend of mine was visiting a southern state in America a couple of months ago. When he was in a restaurant, the waiter (waitress?) noticed that they had a northern accent and asked them which state they were from. The waiter started listing some states and ended with Maine. My friend said that none of them were correct and that they lived even more north.
The waiter was confused, "Huh?" he said, "There's nothing north of Maine."
Bruce

I'm surprised the waiter even knew Maine was there.

Why does the word 'blonde' come to mind?

There's nothing outside California. It's all just an illusion beyond the border, the world can't be that big.
For that matter, there's nothing outside northern California. Southern California doesn't really exist either, it's also part of the vast conspiracy which attempts to make people think the world is larger than it really is.
Actually, maybe there's really nothing outside this house. It could be that when I step outside I only think I'm stepping outside, and it's actually a detailed hallucination that's being induced somehow, perhaps through the mind-controlling substances they (meaning the evil people running this laboratory experiment that I've been made to think is a planet) inject into the air here.
