Ok. I went to see Planet of the Apes tonight. It was a great Movie. Except for the Ending which confused me. Can someone explain it to me?

PS: If you are gonna talk about something in the movie that'll spoil something put an alert or sumptin so we don't spoil the movie for the people who haven't seen it.

For example:

<----------------Spoilers Ahead-------------------->
blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah

I only saw the original one and that ending made sense to me....
but with remakes who knows where they go??? Why not come up with an original idea for a movie rather that try to dress up an old idea and change the ending? Oh well, creativity and Hollywood doesn't always go hand and hand.

My take on the ending,

Well I can take it is if he was able to go so far into the future to where the apes gained control and evolved to be the ruling species is it not possible that these generate enhanced aps who are trained as pilots be able to go back in time.

At the beginning they were using apes to fly spacecrafts to explore so as not to risk a human and that is how the human got lost is trying to find the ape. Know since they lost the ape and than the human and (as learn towards the end of the movie) they tried to find/rescue the human. I think that they would send some more apes into the space thingy and one could have taken another tunnel that leads back in time to earth and..... well you get the idea
