Question about winrar?

I have a question about winrar. I intend to use it to make my files smaller to transfer them via ftp to my web host and I would like to know if its true that after i break them up they will still be one clip instead of alot of little ones?
I would also like to know if I could use winrar to break up the files and still use them with an embedded media player like realplayer?
In other words could i still use them as if they were one realmedia file with no problems.

Well after you break them up and upload them, the person who is downloading them has to have all the files for them to be able to play the real player file. You can not play anything if you don't have all the files. If the person has all the files then he extracts the main rar file and then you have a .rm (or what ever file format it is) which is complete. I was not sure of what you were asking. Hope that helped
