We are sending this letter to inform you that effective September 6th 2001, we are discontinuing the bCentral ClickTrade service. As a provider of services for small and medium sized businesses, our main goal is the continual improvement of services to meet the growing needs of business users. To better meet your affiliate marketing needs, we have set up a relationship with Commission Junction, a pay-for-performance advertising network that allows online advertisers to acquire more customers and online publishers to earn the most revenue from their audience. Commission Junction is offering a special discounted price to ClickTrade Advertisers.
For more information and to sign up as an advertiser (merchant) with Commission Junction please visit http://revenue.bcentral.com/cjjoin.htm. Current ClickTrade merchants that transition their program will get a 25% rebate on the initial set up fee.
We value our relationship with you and hope that you will choose to continue using our services. We will continue to provide strong services, such as SubmitIt, LinkExchange Banner Network and ListBuilder, to help meet your marketing needs. How do I close my current program?
Prior to September 6th 2001 you can make your current program(s) inactive by logging into your account and following these steps.
* Select Manage next to your program
* Scroll to the bottom of the Web page and select Inactive
* Save your changes
After you make your program inactive an automatic email will be sent to all of your affiliates that note the program and payout change.
If you would prefer to cancel your account immediately, please visit http://clicktrade.bcentral.com/support/ctwebsupport.cfm to notify us.
When can I start my new program with Commission Junction?
You can apply to join the Commission Junction network anytime. Set up time varies, so we recommend that you contact Commission Junction as soon as possible to minimize the risk of interrupted service. For current ClickTrade Merchants interested in transitioning/migrating their current affiliate programs over to Commission Junction please email bcentral@cj.com or call 800-761-1072 and ask for a sales representative. Can I email my affiliates?
You may log into your ClickTrade account until September 6th 2001 and use the Send Mail feature to communicate with your affiliate partners on your program status and any other items you deem appropriate. You may also direct them to Commission Junction if you decide to continue your affiliate marketing program there.
What about Revenue Avenue?
Revenue Avenue, the service affiliates (publishers) use to participate in affiliate programs, functionality will be disabled September 6th 2001. Publishers participating in programs are being notified via a separate email and are encouraged to join Commission Junction. Links to active programs will continue to be tracked until the September 6th closing date. September 6th 2001 ClickTrade will close and no further tracking or credits will occur. All links to affiliate programs should be removed by September 6th 2001. Revenue Avenue will remain a component of bCentral business services and affiliate marketing services will be offered via the relationship with Commission Junction.
What if I am owed money?
If you are due any remaining balance, a payment will be issued in full within 60 days of the closing date of September 6th 2001. Refunds will be made to the credit card with which the original or most recent deposit was made.
