S-u-p all. It's me again, back with the same site. This time however, I need some feedback on the review section.
Poll:
Does the site load fairly fast?
Does the layout suite the design?
Do the screenshots clash with the page colors?
How do you like it?
Anywho, just wondering whether or not I should go ahead and start typing my personal game reviews away.
BTW check out some of the screenshots and look at my logo on the bottom right corners when enlarged. :)
I would appreciate any type of feedback, whether good or bad. Thanks.

You can take this anyway you want too, but it looks just like all ofthe other game sites out there.

Agreed.
I suppose it would be nice if you included the retail price of the software you're reviewing. And maybe a link to the software company's website for more info etc.

OK. I said good or bad, so. I don't see how it looks the same as all of the other gaming sites. I don't see one gaming site that uses the games box at least.
It may look the same to you, but try reading it. I wrote everything myself, and I took all the screenshots myself. So there is no other site out there with these things.

Most of the ones I've been to do.

Now OK. I'm not saying you took the writing or screenshots from other sites. But the overall design, just seems characterisitc of a game site. Thats all I meant.

You misunderstood us. What we (well, I'm not completely sure about Phrozen, but I'm pretty sure) were trying to say is that the feel of your review page looks just like the millions of review pages out there right now, and that there isn't anything new, fresh or interesting that makes your review page any different from the other guy's. Like, you go to any review page and you basically see what we saw at your page. We weren't trying to say that your review content and images were taken from other places, that's not what we meant.

I understand that. I wasn't exactly just saying that. I was also saying that design and layout isn't always the high point of a website. Yes, there's many webpages with simular layouts. But only a few actually write their own reviews. Most i've seen "steal" or "borrow" reviews off of high stream gaming sites, like IGN.com. There are few, and mine's one of them. Anywho, thanks for the feedback, but i'm happy with it.

What im most worried about is loading time. Not really so much as if it looks like another gaming website. I'm trying to throw the familier gaming site look into the action. How many of you would rather search with a familier search engine look, like yahoo, or altavista? Would you rather use a search engine that looks weird, and is hard to navigate? ;)
