Hi there, I believe this will be my first post to this board... yippee for me. I work as an editor at a medium size gaming webpage called Gamenikki (www.gamenikki.com). We're currently on the hunt for more webspace to store images on. Our actual site has quite a few MB's of space but it's all used by our pages and older graphics.

I'm on the look out for free space, more then 10 MB worth that will allow image linking. A lot of the services I signed up for yesterday apparently don't allow this. We use an editor to add thumbnails and link to pictures located at this webspace, but when I tested them this morning all the links (except when I click them, because it's my space or something) give visitors a "Forbidden" or something message.

Any good webspace for the kind of use we need?

Most web hosts prohibit hotlinking because it uses up their transfer. Try two freehost.nu accounts.

Hello:

Our company is just starting out and we havn't officially launched yet, but we plan to on Monday the 20th of August (this month:) ). We offer completely free web hosting with free domain name registration, many programming features and extras. We try to give you all the quirks of paid hosting without the cost, and if there is something you need that we don't offer let us know so we can add it. We offer different free packages to fit anyone's needs. If one of out packages doesn't work for you, we will customize one for you.

You could host your entire website with us for free (or paid to completely remove any type of ads)and have more than enough space for all of your pictures and what have you. We offer customizable free packages that will allow up to 1GB of webspace or more.

If you would more information, would like to pre-register, or have your site reviewed for our services please send an email with the subject: info re:hosting to:
mike@paradonsolutions.com

I hope this helps you.

Perhaps I will. I found some other webspace that allows hotlinking, my own personal webspace from Excite@home. Wouldn't your site be pissed that we were just using your space though? I mean it would be used for image storage only.

Thanks,
Dave
