Battery isn't plural. Batteries is plural.

nope battery is a group of two or more dry cells linked in a series.

Look it up ia a dictionary, or science book if you want. I know my electricity ;)

/add/ Phrozen is right batteries is the plural of battery; a single grouping of two or more cells.
