what would you think if I created a search engine dedicated strictly to message boards?

so in a year or two after it was compleated and a ton of web sites had been added to the directory someone could type in just about any phrase or word and then find a descussion about it and ask questions

does anyone know if this idea has already been thought of?
if it has can you show me the site?
also is it a good or bad idea? I'm thinking of making a site thats as original as possible:madchrist

hell yea thats a great idea. go for it. id like to see the site when its finished. ive never seen a site like that and thats a real original idea. keep us informed

i dont know... message boards tend to change more than websites and it would be hard to keep the search engine up to date.

it would be great if you successfully pull it off
