Heh heh... just wanna "make some backup". :p

What kind of software should I use to do that? Which type of format is better (like mpg, avi, asf etc.) as in good quality and small size? If you can't get good quality with small sized files, then which format is of higher quality?

Thanks for any help. :)

There's a program that copies the stuff that's on your screen to AVI. After you have taped your entire screen into an AVI file (which should be like 30gigs ) you can compress it with any media compression program.

Windows Media compression gives you higher frame rates but lower quality frames.
Real Media compression gives you lower frame rates but higher quality frames.
