I didn't know how bad it was. What about this for stealing a website's real estate?

Old news, I knew this for months.
Download Ad-aware from download.com, and you will find dozens of spyware. I found twenty spy ware elements, I then was surprised. It will eliminate all elements of spyware. Don't even think of deleting the program, because it will not delete the spy-ware elements.

Eh - my point was what it does to the websites, not that it's spyware.
Lavasoft lives here: http://www.lavasoft.de/ and isn't that accurate at all. It mainly scans for certain company names in file names ad i the registry. Something you ca do yourself. It can't distinguish between a text file that happens to have the "wrong" name and a program.

hey GC, i ran the proggie! i found 133 so called "spyware" proggies ( or files ). Hahahahah, it detected my cookies as spyware.... i guess now paranoia sets in. I gotta do one of those fresh from scratch restarts again anyways. :jump:

I trust Ad-aware more... it finds the files that are related to spy-ware.

Yeah this Gator and Toptext are runining webmasters sleep. We have won the first round though. Truste removed it's privacy certificate from KazAa.com. First of the many blows to come for Ezula!
