I am looking for $100 deal for dedicated server. Is there any good reliable hosting company which can provide server under $100. Please let me know.
Thanks.

Pretty much all you'll get with that price would be a RaQ. There was a place that had dedicated servers with low bandwidth for around $60. I can't remember the name of the place though.

As they say, you get what you pay for...

Here's the closest you'll find, but you're not going to get what you're looking for for that price.

But they are charging setup fee but I want no setup fee.

Soon you'll realize that we don't always get what we want in this world. If we did, we'd all have multiple OC-192s and have the servers setup in our houses.

All of the less expensive places have to have a setup fee. Thats how they make the money.

Now if you don't want a setup fee, and you want something for under $100/month you won't find anything. You can't even get a RaQ for that...

I have one weeks time to decide if you find a good deal then let me know.
Tks for your efforts.

I would have to totally agree with Phrozen on this one. If you have the money to afford this, Im sure you have the money to afford a domain name.

Try www.4webspace.com

But I suggest you have to dish out about $400/month for a real server. Phrozen is right, you get what you pay for.

hey Aron,
what wrong in giving a shot. You wont believe I am very close to deal now.
Sometime people don't think unless you force tell them to think.
Anyhow I will take your suggestion before finalizing the deal.

Haven't multicity and a couple of others posted something close? I can't recall if it had no setup, or if the drive was SCSI, or the processor quite that fast, but I seem to remember something similar. Maybe you can get $100 setup and it would schwing?

You may also want to drop the SCSI drive as they are more expensive. A decent current IDE will serve pages fine. Ram is cheap, shouldn't be a problem. Difference between a 733 and an 850 won't be too noticable either.

Or if you wait long enough the price will come down and that should be available :D

Trust me, you will be waiting a lot longer than weeks before you find what you are looking for.

Sounds more like you might be waiting indefinitely.

Yes very close and some are offering without setup too. Do you think IDE with 5200 RPM , 128MB RAM and PIII 750 is enough to handel 4 GB data transfer per day.
But I am waiting for SCSI with 256MB.
I am taking sometime cos I don't know about there NOC and there support. Let me shortlist the deals and I will take your help.
Then I will :D :D :D :D on people who think its impossible :D :D :D :D

I never looked around for dedicated hosting...but i know the guy who runs this service. www.nminc.net

For the more aware: Are his prices at least half way decent?

Well, that works out to roughly 120 gigs/mo. I'd say it certainly isn't ideal for that type of traffic, heh. If this is for one site, what type of site? Stands a good chance that 256 might not be enoughbut again, it really depends on what you are running on the server.

if you are just transfering files then it should be fine. Still not ideal, as a faster HD would be better, but you aren't looking for better, you are looking for cheaper and thus, you might have to make some sacifices.

Be sure to know the NOC and the line you are on and the restrictions (if any). No sense putting a dual PIII 1.4 with 2 gigs of ram on a 56K dialup if you know what I mean :D
