I have register a .com.kg with wzr.net. May I know how to I activate my .com.kg domain?

- read the 'top level domains' field at the bottom on that page

it'll redirect them, but i'll be damned if i'll register domains for everyone that wants them :cool:... i tried that with .com.ru, what a mistake!

i just got an email from somebody asking this very question, this may help you......



ok 1st of all, all the domain services i use are FREE.

make sure you have all your dns stuff ready like the addresses ad ips

like:
ns1.myhost.com
202.345.234.1
ns2.myhost.com
202.345.234.2

you will also have to notify your host if your hosting your domain with them.

now wat you do is you got to http://www.domain.kg/ and sign up for a personal id, all it is is your organization's name and email address. then in there domain signup form enter that code. then thats out of the way.

if your not using a dns server supplied by your host, you may need an alternative dns host, i use http://www.everydns.net/ . sign up with them. you will need to use their dns servers with domain.kg , you may need to ping the name servers to get their ip addresses. if you have a dedicated ip address, do the following (this is done by working your way down the page)

***enter your domain name without the 'www.'
***select the A record
***type in your dedicated ip address
***leave the last box blank and press submit

start a new record

***enter your domain name with the 'www.'
***select the A record
***type in your dedicated ip address
***leave the last box blank and press submit

"if you have done all the following, then your domain should be ready overnight, there would also be no need to read the last part"


if you do not have a dedicated ip address with your hosting and wish to redirect your domain to your sites' url, go to http://www.wzr.net/ and sign up for an account there.

now look around there site for dns information, there will give an ip address (you will have to go back to everydns.net and enter all the same information as in the bit that described b4 how to set up a dedicated ip but insert wzr.net's ip they give you instead. then do this step at everydns.net

***enter your domain name with '*.' (so it looks like *.mydomain.com.kg)
***select the A record
***type in your dedicated ip address
***leave the last box blank and press submit
