reconfiguring keys
 

Someone I know won a free microsoft natural keyboard but it's qwerty instead of the usual azerty here and he's intent on wanting to make it type azerty even though the keys won't match then :rolleyes:
Changing the keyboard mapping would work except he only wants the letters to be in azerty but the symbols and numbers have to be like they're listed on the keyboard.
So he asked if I know of a program/keyboard drive that would allow each key to be individually 'programmed'.

The only one I could find so far is: http://www.spinner.nl/products/winmapper . If anyone knows of another one that would be great :)

(Edited to add that it should work for Win98&Win2K/XP)

Isn't Qwerty the standard?

I've never heard of a azerty keyboard layout before ( i thought it may be a late april fool ) :D

I did several searches on google and looked up through page 19 on one but nothing too useful came up :(

Well I dunno. I had never even heard of azerty before so I googled it and it always said French. Now I'm even more confused than before. Please excuse me while I leave this thread...

Just get a screwdriver and rearrange the letters :D
