Should the afghany people die for the people of america?

You know people say that if we bomb afghanistan then thousands of innocent people will die, but think about it thousands of innocent americans died. So do you think the US should kill the afghany people as the coming generatoins of aghany people might again become terrorist?

Killing innocent lives in Afghanistan is just going to make the American people stoop to the lows the terrorists did.

Revenge, out of anger, is pointless and just means more meaningless death.

Calculated military strategy, with the goal of stopping terrorists from repeating the same thing being the only goal, could certainly make sense. Killing people just because some other people in their general vicinity killed some people in your area just means you have more dead people with nothing at all gained.

Eliminate the people responsible, try to avoid hurting those not responsible to the maximum extent possible.

The way some people try to claim that if 5,000 innocent people die in one place then another 5,000 innocent people should die in another place and somehow that's supposed to cancel out instead of add up... well, it's a little disturbing.

Just slaughter the terrorists and leave the innocent alone. When they've done something bad, then go after them.

Someone in another forum gave the anology of, "If a bully keeps beating you up and taking your lunch money, they are going to keep doing it until you make them stop".

I'm sure this is a situation people can more easily associate with; however it is still the same sort of thing.

To make the bully stop (as I learnt myself ) you have to take ah... disciplinary measures!

So, I think you can apply that to this situation. You have to take disciplinary measures against the terrorists.

However, with the bully situation... once you've say, beaten the crap out of the bully, do you then go on to beat the crap out of the bullys mother? And girlfriend? And younger brother? And grandfather? And best friend? (Maybe sometimes! ), or the guy that lives accross the road from him?

So, with the terrorists... do you then go on to take measures against their mothers? Against the guy that lives near them? Etc. I'm sure you see my point, and most people here seem to understand that.

But when I see people blaming everyone, and saying the whole entire country should die, it makes me sick.

Anyone except the terrorists did nothing.

I want the people who did this killed, like every other american. That does not mean we are going to be killing innocent people, some idiots do think that. I especially hate those dumb idiots who think we should do nothing, and let the terrorist continue their waves of terror, now that is stupid.
