Well, here's the revised edition of what LeX said:

-If you want to talk about other topics, please don't post in the Free Webspace section. Go to the forum main page and see the sections there. To talk about normal stuff, you can enter the General section.

-There is no such thing as no ads with fast and reliable - unless they offer paid hosting and many people are using paid hosting, this can happen. Without ads, no source of income, so how will they pay for bandwidth?

-Bandwidth is limited - Nothing is unlimited, even Bill Gates' money. You have to PAY for bandwidth

-Space isn't limited - You won't get 100000 Terabytes of space, try signing up for 100 accounts and upload 100000 Terabytes of files on each account. Why take it on a hard drive?

-No downtimes are ALMOST impossible - Even those good servers has at least 0.01% downtime if they are up for at least 5 years.

-Hotlinking EXE files - No host will do that. If you want, go to a file storage provider such as Yahoo! Briefcase. Hotlinking means linking to a server from another server. Example: I am on Tripod and link a file from Angelfire.

-Do not keep posting about the same thing example: saying I want 50MB of space every minute. There aren't many free hosts around, not that 10 host popups every second.

Well, unless the host has a limit on the number of members that can sign up (which most don't), then what's to stop you from using an 'unlimited' amount of space... unless the host has some way to track multiple sign-ups from the same computer and if they explicitly don't allow more than one account per person.

Docevl, the mods are on top of it now. I take that back, it must be an admin. Todd seems to be the only one around at the moment.

I searched for 3 hours before entering the forums...Then, the forums were able to refine my list I had made (see "refine my list" for small ad-free hosts in this forum)

It was this guy who posted the word RED in big red letters that made surfers scroll down the bottom in order to read the next posts. But it's all gone now. Maybe just someone who cannot find anything to do. Just ignore it.

actually there are some hosts that allow you to hotlink .exe files. i know of 2 but im keeping those on the downlow. dont want everyone to hotlink and make them prohibit hotlinking.
