i know what im doing, i've done it before. Now for some reason its using abbreviations for file paths. I need to get rid of some of the crap programs that mess up my memory on startup that i dont need. I know you need Explorer, systray, smreminder and rnaapp, i wouldnt be dumb enough to delete those.Originally posted by Jan

And config.sys. We all know that HIMEM.SYS is an extremely contagious virus.
Akalon, if only there was MSCONFIG for Win2000, I have to do it manually.![]()

is that possible to use that on win2k?
YES, it is. I got it yesterday when I was tweaking my Win2k install. I just stuck it in my windows folder, and now I can get to it by typing msconfig in run. Easy. Now, if I can get winipcfg.exe...
what does winipcfg.exe do?
and if you really need it extract it from a win98 cd or something![]()
Tells you your ip addy, start > run > winipcfgOriginally posted by is0lized
