That attachment has the W32.Anset.Worm in it. We got party trojans, and now we even have trojans promising to protect from trojans..LOL

They are getting smarter. Saying it's an exe makes it less suspicious.

It still takes a pretty stupid person to download any random software that gets emailed to them. Not that there's any shortage of those people.

Exactly. I know several persons that would see that as valid as a security bulletin from MS or Symantec but have learnt to look out for double extensions. The yahoo.com was better though.

I have recived an e-mail today with such a text:

I wish you would enjoy it.

Of course with a virus

If I usually get sent a virus, I send it to this girl I know, cause I can't stand her, and I know she'd likely accept the virus, because she's been burned a couple of times before, only not by me.

Just one non-spread trojan to one victim is good. I know someone asking advice of an exorcist guy, saying that his computer was corrupted and overtaken by evil spirits

Anyway, yeah, these are the non spreading viruses that get sent. Anyway, I'm sure the other viruses that may spread to other people are smart enough to accept them...chances are they send her the viruses too.
