HostingDepartment.net is now hiring for the Technical Support Department. The pay is per ticket, the ticket price will be from $0.25-$1.00 per ticket depending on the ticket & how long it took to fix.

(We can also offer you a free reseller if you prefer this).

HostingDepartment Servers are Fully Unmanaged so every detail regarding Security, Control Panels and Networking is not a key requirement but can boost your chances of being accepted if you have any knowledge in it.

We require our Techs to have good knowledge over the following OS's:

Linux Operating System
UNIX (FreeBSD) Operating System
Familiar with SSH Commands

We also need people who know about the following & have worked with atleast 3 of the below

cPanel / WHM Control Panel
Webmin
Direct Admin
Kayako eSupport (What you will be working on)

- Patience with Angry Customers and able to cool down even at rough times.
- Great Typing and Spelling with the English Language, NO IM LINGO.
- Applicants must be at least 18 Years of age (We may ask for proof)
- Show up for work on time with the hours you have selected.
- Must have a verified paypal account or stormpay account

Payments are weekly, you will be required to work 3 days for free before you become a full staff member as we will need to see how you work with us & our clients.

The following shifts are:

Morning Shifts:
7AM - 10AM
10AM - NOON

Afternoon & late shifts:
1PM - 4PM
5PM - 8PM

Late nights:
All night shift (1am - 6am) (Double pay)

I m willing to apply. I m a bit confused about the time provided. Are they GMT? Although here are all about my work experience and others.

I have worked as Chief Server Tech on Servers4me.com, managed 6 Servers and regularly providing Tech Supports. Managed and maintaining my own server Hagioteam. More work experience on noc4hosts.com
Was a assistant tech engineer for 2 months. All the requirements fullfilled. Only didnt work on Direct Admin any time. Worked on others. Willing to work on the late nights if they are +6 GMT.

Ok my experience.

I own a linux computer box at home. On that box I do many experiments on how linux operates and stuff. I have worked at a company called circleshosting which I pretty much did everything in cPanel/WHM with root access.

I know how to use SSH, I use a program called Putty. I don't know if you need any other details, if you do just ask, you know my msn
