    very reliable reseller needed

I was thinking about getting a vps, but I'd like to check into reseller account options too. I have had a bad experience with reseller accounts in the past, so I am very picky about this now. it must be reliable and secure. root access would be nice. I'll help manage the server in exchange for this, if the host doesn't mind this.

I need 20gb space, 50gb bandwidth, access to set up cvs via ssh, 100mb/s eithernet connection to the internet, cpanel and fantastico.

can I set up a custom automatic backup in a reseller account? a vps might be better for that.

I can't stress enough, the host and server must be reliable.

Root for a reseller is a 100% no go. Your best options is to go for a VPS but wioth the space you need, you are looking at us$80 approx.

Unless you can adjust your space a bit or your root requirements, you will be paying on the high end.

I think giving out root access and reliable are a contradiction. So if you find a host offering this I doubt it will be reliable. Go for a vps.

Yes if you have access to cron jobs.

I have the same question. 80% of my offers are custom plans with no urls.

If it's a custom plan you still need to provide a link to your website, regardless of it being in your signature or not.

It just helps ensure the host isn't censored/banned.

Is 20GB disk space what you really use?

I have a plan for 12GB with 180GB bandwidth for $67.99/month. Maybe this might suit your needs?
