    Domain registrations are not free, but they're not expensive. A .org domain can be had for around $9 per year.

    Free domains are nothing but trouble.

    Well no registar can offer you a "free" .org domain, (unless it's a special promo, occasional) but I can offer you a free .org domain if you put ads on your site. (2 rotating ads)

    you get what you pay for... if you want free, then there is always a catch... for example , insert advertisement in your web.
