    what's a .vsi file?

    And what do I do with it?

    I downloaded DotNetNuke in this format and I want to try and install it on my Window's hosting account.

    Is this some sort of zip format, or do I just upload it like that?

    If you ever need to find out a file type check out

    http://filext.com/

    You enter your file type, it will tell you what it is, and the program on which to open it with.
