    Lv3servers, general update.

As most of you may have seen the thread about the Saidcom data center being down. It has been extremely difficult for us to find a data center willing to offer services within the same price range as Saidcom.

Just 10 minutes ago, after doing some research and contacting about 20 data centers accross the United States, we have found the perfect solution for our budget server clients. We are still awaiting for some data back from Saidcom before being able to launch back again.

We are expecting the re-launch date to be at the end of this week. Our website, www.lv3servers.com is already offering live updates. The new data center is located in Chicago (No it is not the FDC data center).

As we have refunded all of our clients, we will be starting with a brand new customer base.

    Thank you

That was 1 week and a half ago.... Saidcom was supposed to go back up last week but guess what? now they say at the end of this week. Couldn't wait any longer so refunded every client and moved on.

I absolutely agree with you. And I will not get near anything that comes from Saidcom... even with a 10 foot pole.

EDIT: Here is something interesting about Saidcom

Saidcom has only 2 bandwidth providers and haven't planned fast enough even after they know that the other bandwidth provider has been merged with Level3 as well.

They have restored service to their ISP customers thru a conventional copper connection. They are still waiting on their fiber connections.

it is slightly ridiculous, will Galaxy continue to use them after they finally get back up (if they do)? or will you guys find a better alternative too?

Common sense tells me that after a DC has been down (for what 3 weeks now) GS will most likely look for a better solution.

The topic isn't Galaxy but Lv3servers, if you want to talk about Galaxy make a thread.
