I have cPanel X with my hosting account and I don't know to which folder shall I upload the files of my site. There are folders like "www", "public_html", etc. I think I shall upload the files to public_html folder, am I right?
However, I've also added an addon domain within my hosting account and don't know to which folder shall I upload the files for this domain. Don't you guys know? I think there should be a special folder for each addon domain, but there isn't. E.g. if I add a domain "example.com", there will be a new folder "example.com" for the domain, won't it? But there is no such a folder.
OK, and as for the addon domain?
It's cPanel (x theme) the addon domain will be in a folder under public_html, the one you set in cPanel.

It isn't there, but I think it's probably because the DNS of the domain is pending the change.
Have you created the addon domain in cPanel?

If you're using a parked domain, you just have to upload everything in public_html.
If you're using an addon domain, you have to upload everything you want accessible through that domain in a subfolder in public_html.

So does it mean if I have more parked domains within one hosting account, they will all have the same content (the content of public_html)?
If so, then I'll add this domain as an addon domain.
If you need different content it will have to be an add-on domain.
