    Windows Vista Ultimate

If I could provide Windows Vista Ultimate (non-OEM) for about $250 (~40% off retail) +tax/shipping/etc each (via PayPal), how many of you would be interested? If you guys are interested, I will post in the Ads / Offers section after I purchase them. I need at least 10 people to be interested before I can purchase the product to sell to you. I will not be making much money on this. I just want to let Freewebspace users have a chance to use Vista for an affordable price. So are you interested? If so say yes, if not, say no please. ;-). Thanks!
If this is considered an ad, please move it to Ads / Offers.

As for me Windows Vista differs from XP only with security issues. If you like XP better to find encryption software not expencive as PGP, something like that Secure Disk or DriveCrypt and that's all.

You think people will spend $50 - $70 more to get the box?

I'll call my sales rep and ask her to tell me how much OEM copies are. I'll bundle them with pendrives.

But you don't have to buy any hardware when you get it off ebay.

For OEM copies to be legal, they MUST come with some sort of hardware.

why would people pay more just for the box. that is all you are paying for, a fancy box. there is no difference between the functionality of the OEN versus the Box version. i bought the OEM for $200 USD. I could have spent twice that for the fancy box, but why. besides the support that i would have to pay for even if i had a box version and that i would never use anywyas, there is no difference. it works and looks exactly the same, oh wait, that is cause it is the same. now, if someone cares about a fancy box instead of a regular case, then yeah, that is a good price, but, i say go with OEM. Also, OEM is technically only legal to use if you have built your computer. not like windows is really going to know the difference, but yeah, i built my comp, and that was the other reason i went with the OEM. and, they are not only legal if purchased with hardware. it is if you built your computer. vista wasnt around when i built it originally, but, it was still legal according the what i read on the Microsoft website.
