2. That is not full management - your missing some serious bits.

Hi,

We have a number of websites for our hosting products/services, hence use one centralised helpdesk on its own domain, along with GBP/USD billing systems on their own domains/sites. We've also recently started customer forums on its own domain - sorry but that's just how our operation is setup!

The description of the server management above is general and yes does not contain specific details, but does include all the "serious bits" under the general description, e.g. server hardening(security). Of course "fully managed" dedicated servers are normally for people aren't familiar with server administration and won't appreciate a long list of things that will be done to the server.

If you have any doubts about any "serious bits" please ask and I can confirm whether it is included or not

We decide what is approved software or not. So for example, we would install and support Zend Optimiser, mod_security, SuPHP, or say PHP 4 or PHP 5. But if a client wants say Chillisoft ASP, this is something we don't install or support.

One further tip - Chillisoft ASP - no longer exists, SUN bought it years ago.

Sorry to be blunt but you don't strike me as knowing what your on about.
