Uptime checker with SMS

I'm looking for some options in terms of an uptime checker that can send me SMS to my cell phone when the server goes down.

Please list as many as you can!

www.host-tracker.com is a very reliable one but you'll have to pay for sms

use host-tracker, then have your email address set as the email to get to your SMS. Since its an email, they wont charge you for SMS.

Call your provider if you arent sure...

Like with verizon... its 1234567890@vtext.com and with t-mobile... its @tmail.com and with sprint... I dunno.

Doesn't your DC have this as an option or included in sever monitoring?

Or depending on locations a shared account with another provider and a sub to an SMS service along with a monitoring script could do it for you, not sure how the WHM facility would suit or not.

well, the one we use at Freeweb7 sends emails and SMS when the server goes offline. it's not free though.

No, I wasn't looking for free ones. Just all and any.

I've used host-tracker before and I may go back to it again but I just wanted to know if there's anything else out there paid or free.

I think that you would need to pay anyway. Chose the cheapest and use. As fas Your company grow you will have employee looking for monitoring systems
