    How to use PayPal?

    Hello!

Can anyone explain to me how to use paypal. Which account is needed to receive payments, donations, etc- and which account is needed to send money (order stuff, pay hosting, give donations, etc)

I really confused about this one.

Do I need to upgrade my account to premier ot business?

    How to get verified?

Thanks for answering this noob question.

You have to go through the process of receiving money into your account, and phone verification.
If you click the get verified link or whatever it's called, then you have to wait up to 5 days and PayPal will send you two payments and you check them and enter the two values, say they sent you 50p and 7p, you'd enter, 50 and 07 into the boxes, then you're verified bank wise.

Address wise you have to do it by phone. You go to the site and carry on through the verified process. After you have finished the bank one that is. You get a phone call from robot that gives you a code, or you get sent an email with a code, I think it's email, then the call comes, you enter your PIN you get in the email, and then you're verified by address.

You can send and receive payments on any account type, you can use personal if it's personal, or business if it's business. You just get higher limits on the account type, of what you can send and receive. Also business one is used for taxation.

What if I'm not live in US? Do I have to contact my local bank and ask them how to get verified?

Does paypal limit the number of donation or payment that I can receive?(I noticed that they limit the number of transaction using a credit card when I'm using a personal type account)

Yeah they limit anyone to an extent. But if you get verified, then you'd have a higher limit. Unless you plan on sending thousands, you don't need to worry. Also, if you send lots of cash through paypal, either buying or selling, they'll lock your account for up to 180 days, for "fraud" checks. If you want to be serious with payments, go with someone like 2checkout.

You do the verification by bank the same way. You add your bank account details to Paypal, you wait up to 5 days, go and ask your bank for a statement or something to check the values they sent you (or if you have online banking, just check there.), then you verify the 2 payments that you got.
