Want some opinions

In about 2 weeks (if plans go right) I plan on starting another web hosting company. However, this one will be ran differently than the last time I did things.

What I am looking for is a company that can give me the best deal really. I am looking for the follow

Private name servers
where I can use my own brand
I can set my own prices (this way I can be competitive but still make a profit)

That is basically it for the time being.

Also if anyone knows of a company that is good to use for a ticket system and billing, I appreciate that too.

I am not so much looking for offers, but the names and web addresses of the companies that can provide the above.

Since you looking to set a your own web hosting company you could definitely sign up as a reseller with one of these companies:

Both of them are the most reputed reseller registrars in the industry and provide an excellent platform, that will help you to grow. cheers!!

I would strongly suggest you check out the packages available at http://www.versaweb.com
They are an excellent company. Been using them myself now for almost a year. Very sufficient and professional.

For a billing/support system, I would strongly recommend http://www.whmcs.com

Basically what ever will allow me to start a new web hosting company. I want to use my own name servers, set my own prices, and use my own brand. I will have someone else handling all the technical aspects of my company, and I will be handing the business aspect of it.

Basically the same thing that I just told to Dynash. Something that will allow me to become a web host, where I can use my own name servers, branding, and set my own prices.

Hello George,

As Dan mentioned, WHMCS is a great billing/support system.

Now as for a reseller host, any typical reseller host will give you the feature for private name servers and the ability to set your own prices. Some hosts will offer end-user support (typically costs more) if you need it. Otherwise, you just need a regular WHM reseller account (as long as they offer custom name servers).

Thanks everyone for your opinions. I have a little bit of time before things will get ready (less than 2 weeks). If anyone else has any suggestions, I am open to hear them.

I recommend you to go with master reseller account. As soon as you grow you will be able to switch to the VPS or dedicated server. Good luck.

Note that if you do use WHMCS and utilize a Master Reseller account, you cannot automate subreseller accounts due to the Master Reseller mod for cPanel not being supported.
My favorite billing system by far has been ubersmith (http://ubersmith.com). When you just start out ubersmith lite is probably the best way to go.
If you want to sell domains as well, I recommend Reseller Club (http://resellerclub.com) from DirectI.
Any reseller or entry level VPS should do fine for you at the beginning. Private nameservers are usually created on the registrar side, except you may need to request for a reseller with private nameservers option.

I've been using their basic reseller for my private sites; support has been good, and I've seen minimal downtime.

They do offer clientexec or WHM autopilot billing; not sure if they have WHMCS, but you could ask them...
