DSD Host was founded in Spring 2009, as a sister site of DediServersDirect.com - The website of a dedicated hosting provider, DediServersDirect Limited. DediServersDirect Limited is a registered UK organisation in England & Wales under the number 06636113.

We believe everyone is entitled to a bit of free space on the web, and that's what we aim to provide. Whether the person requires web hosting, a small reseller account, SHOUTcast hosting, image & other media hosting

We operate from a set of clustered servers in the UK, provided from a rack owned and operated by DediServersDirect. The hosting is provided on VMware optimized servers, for ease of management and to maximise the potential of the servers, ensuring everyone gets a fair usage of the resources available. We also have a server available in the USA.

Most free hosts around either force advertisements on all their hosting packages, or require you to "post 2 host". We do neither of these, you ask how can we afford it? WE simply use some of our profit from the main business, to provide a service for those who cannot afford to pay web hosting fees. It's ideal for a small family or business website, when you are just getting started on the internet.

Web Hosting

We have 2 packages available, 1 GB space package, which you can order instantly. The 10GB package will need to be reviewed by a DSD Host admin before we will grant the package to you. It is advisable to send a ticket into support to check the status on this package if you don't hear from us within 24 hours.

Hi,

As I explained in the ticket, i'm currently redoing the website, and for some reason your computer picked up an old DNS record from an old server, so i've now blanked that off. Site will be back shortly.

No the server is not down, you were still connecting to our outdated mirror server, due to an unsynced DNS record. Should be fixed now
