I wouldn't mind attending, as long as it is near Peterborough
Ain't really got any ideas, but plus 1 for people that would go![]()

Hey,
Me and Jason were talking before about the idea for a UK HostingCon that was discussed on WHT before.
We were thinking of location, either Manchester or Petersborough.I'd personally pick Manchester.
Pricing would be around £30/day or £50/3 days, per person.
More ideas and suggestions are welcomed though, even help for setting it up.
Event sponsers too. If you want more information about the planning etc send a PM to Jason.
Just post what ideas you have.(Ideally name! We only have HostGathering so far, so...)
Sounds like a good idea. Alot of hosts travel all the way to the USA to attend HostingCon.

I`d attend if it was in Manchester, Also would help organize if my help was needed.

I'd personally love to turn up to Manchester and meet a few people here when I finally get my arse up and learn how to drive.

I would go with Manchester - it may not be more geographically central than peterborough but I reckon its becoming just as active / popular. Also, the travel links are good ( if expensive )

I feel really sorry for the people that have to use the train service. In total, a train from where I am, to manchester, would cost: £170.20. Where as, a roundtrip in a car would only cost 2 and half tanks of fuel, meaning about £100. Also, the train takes 5 hours 45 minutes, a car takes about 4 hours 47 mins.
I thought public transport was meant to be cheaper and faster?
