A family member just informed me that they couldn't access Gmail, although it appears to be working fine here.![]()
Someone here in Sweden tried to make September 1 a "No Google day". It got a lot of news coverage, but I don't think anyone outside of Sweden heard of it since there's been a lot of people in the past trying to do the exact same thing. It means he suggested people not to use any google service today so people could think about how much power Google have and how dependent we all are on Google. He got some unexpected help from google with this gmail mess...We know many of you are having trouble accessing Gmail right now — we are too, and we definitely feel your pain. We don't usually post about minor issues here (the Apps status dashboard and the Gmail Help Center are usually where this kind of information goes). Because this is impacting so many of you, we wanted to let you know we're currently looking into the issue and hope to have more info to share here shortly. If you have IMAP or POP set up already, you should be able to access your mail that way in the meantime. We're terribly sorry for the inconvenience and will get Gmail back up and running as soon as possible. link

A few hours ago I couldn't, kept returning an error telling me to try again later. It works now but it's really sluggish compared to normal.
Yes, they had some problem. Yesterday, we were getting error while accessing to our gmail account. But, now its working fine.
