problem it only runs on debian also there is no billing software that works with it. I had some issues with dns and the software.

it's meant to only work on Debian that's what it was created for after all.
dns works fine.

I'm looking through the ehcp code, the shell script is actually pretty solid, but the php needs some work.
Theres also some python, which seems to be pretty well done. It's just this is a bit of a mish mash, and since it appears to have a php base, it's not going to be wildly quick.
Not wanting to trash their work, it's one hell of an undertaking, and theres a lot to like
Have you checked out GNUPanel? It was designed to run on Debian and Ubuntu.
GNUPanel lacks of a lot things,
the developer team is not that active too.
