What does IPB give that vbb doesn't? I've always been partial to VBB, but to be honest the last time I used IPB was when it was a free forum software based on the aging and wonderful ikonboard. Guessing a lot has changed?
IPB have been adding some nice features over the last year. It shows they understand the future of forums. vB? Not so much... They've been going in the other direction since they got sold and on top of that charging more.
even login management feature in IPB is brilliant you can even share login to many other gr8 script's DBs like WHMCS without much hassle
and even you can create a login share to any DB system using IPB Login Management Feature with having some basic knowledge
Again, I don't think members would like to move to IPB, so we're likely to keep vB and upgrade later this summer. Maybe vB will catch up when they see where IPB is going.
Been looking @ IPB's demos and I must say, it has evolved quite a bit since last time I used it. I'm impressed.
