Seems they allow this free hosting only for 1st level domain.

We do not ask to pay, this was in our standard email sent to the customers of our paid hosting.
We have changed this now. You only have to register and create a ticket via helpdesk providing the domains you are going to host with us. Please make sure they were registered before September 2010 and these are first-level domains.
The idea is to support online projects at the initial stage of the development.

And as mentioned in another thread that has not been answered, what happens at the end of the year?

If people need to pay after this, then this is not a free hosting offer, it is a paid promotion.
