Tips on Web Design

I have always liked websites that are easy to navigate and are not overly busy and cluttered with information. It should be really obvious as to what the website is offering and being used for.

3. Make it Easy to Find Stuff
4. Don't bog your website down

If you are just new to wen designing, then you should go explore the related sites of your niche to get some inspiration about how and what to include while designing a website. Once you have some experience (with time) you can think of some more creative ideas of your own. To get some for basic knowledge, consult the w3schools website.

My tip is avoid using the <img> tag whenever you can, and instead use the CSS background property.

The sales page should convey a sense of trust and professionalism to the prospective customer. Besides good design elements that you've covered, the page should focus on offering real value to the customer, to justify the price of your product.

I believe the <img> tag is very useful, as you can specify an ALT property for SEO purposes, as well as a Title property for tooltip information.

I too am curious as to why you wish to discourage the use of this tag?

Put simple navigation as much as possible. When someone find your site it should be easy to find for them. Your website layout and design should be look reliable on all over the site.

you can use grid 960 system to speed up the development process. think to consider is 1. user friendley nav
2. great content. 3. and a nice looking header logo .

According to me, For good web design then you should use clean website with good content . Use the proper color collaboration in the design. Include the logo of your business in the web design. Use the easily readable fonts in the design.
