Looking for a cheap (yearly plan) VPS to use as my second OpenVPN server in case the main goes down for any reason. This is going to be used for administration of my business, nothing more.

500mb-5GB Storage
64MB RAM
10 GB Bandwidth (monthly)
CentOS 5.4 32bit
1 IPv4 Address
Tun/TAP and the IPTables NAT module enabled.

Budget is no concern as long as it's not some outrageous $30/year price.

Guys, I just don't need 128MB memory. I'll probably use at most 20MB memory which is why I'm asking for 64MB.

We don't mean to be rude, but 512MB memory is about as low as is reasonable to run a VPS account as long as there is a burst amount to fall back to. Remember, on a VPS (server) your not the only account using the whole server, therefore 512Mb memory is what is standard for low value VPS plans. Some VPS plans don't even get that low.

Just consider you get all the extra memory for free. You will diffidently use it, for sure!

Again I won't be using more then 20MB memory (current VPN server only uses 15MB) so it's wasted memory and I don't want to pay for resources that I will not be using.

Actually, one of my clients has a CentOS VPS with only 64MB Memory and it runs just fine. He has yet to have any problems. Do a bit more research next time? Please note, any operating system that runs out of memory in a burst uses a disk-cache to convert to memory usage.

I understand you. You only need whats called a "scripting environment," or rather bare minimums.

His reasoning is just silly. What he meant to explain is, "We resell VPSs and our parent company doesn't have VPSs with less than 512mb."

I think socheaphost's offer looks just about exactly what you wanted except for the amount of ram. and the price is pretty reasonable. $31.18 a year does not even cover any amount of
operating cost.
