Looking for buget VPS (or similar)

Hello, I am looking for a budget VPS.

Mostly I will be running a minecraft server, and I would also like to experiment with databases and websites.

Currently I pay $0.06 an hour for a 0.5 gig ram, .5 gig processor but its just to costly. With a few gigs of data a month it costs me around $43 a month.

I am looking to pay per use

I don't need windows server (Ubuntu or similar is fine)

[S]Another major feature I am looking for is to only pay for the time I have the server running. Currently I have to pay even when I don't need the server running. (otherwise my current price would be fine)[/S]

Also can pay per year if the price is right

I need to be able to have sql, ftp, php, and install java. Also ahving something like Cpanel is a huge bonus! (No plans to sell space so no need for WHM)

Minecraft is relatively processor intensive but have no problems with my current specs.

Also doesn't need to be managed.

VPSs are normally paid for an entire month, whether you use it or not. If you want to pay per use, you'll need a cloud environment, which is going to be considerably more expensive for a real cloud environment on quality hardware. I don't know any VPS providers with a pay-per-use model, since VPSs don't work that way. cPanel will also generally cost you an additional $10-15/mo. for the license, so you can expect to see that cost added to the price.

Are you looking for USA based or UK based hosting ? Considering your requirements I would recommend you to go for cloud vps where you will get scalable resources.

Sorry never thought about that, US based.

And being scalable currently isn't worth the price. (No need at the moment)

The discount would apply to the yearly rate as well. Either way, it comes out the same.

We can install pretty much any control panel, but we don't do any of the configuration or setup or such, as all our VPSs are unmanaged.
