What do you think of the police raid on Kim Dotcom?

So what do you think? They could have simply turned up and issued a warrant, but instead they used a lot of force (helicopters, armed police, police dogs etc) on someone who they classed as low risk.

An absurd excess of force, and indicative of the US's overarching influence across the world, but I'm more worried about the ramping up of raids on various left-wing groups in the pacific northwest, including the Joint Terrorism Task Force; along with the FBI's worryingly (and increasingly) brazen tactics of entrapment and creating "terrorists" to arrest them (like the kids, "anarchists", who "planned to blow up a bridge", something that was entirely concocted by the FBI who roped in innocent and somewhat gullible people to arrest). This has been ramped up recently, especially in the wake of the May Day protests this year.

I'm not a Maoist (Kasama Project are Maoists), but here's some info on the raids: http://kasamaproject.org/2012/07/26/...a-and-seattle/
