    Question email-based conference?

I need a script to set up an email-based conference.
    Can you recommend one?

    Thanks,
    Victor.

I mean, something like yahoo groups : http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/groups/messages

Or, better, like listbot.com used to be, until Microsoft shut it down.

If you want exactly like yahoo groups, contact your system admin (if your site is hosted by a company). You may try cgi.resourceindex.com or php.resourceindex.com ; you may try majordomo, anyemail.pl etc..

    There's a Python-based program for this [I think it's incorporated into CPanel].

    It's called mailman:

Thank you for your suggestions, but no luck so far.

Majordomo looks like what I need, but it requires telnet access, which I do not have at the moment. (Yes, the web-site is hosted by another company).

Do all such list server programs require telnet access? Are there any which can be installed via ftp?

    Thank for your answers,
    Victor.
