I'm currently designing a website, which is mainly based on a BB(phpBB 2), The site is currently running on a ezboard, however, their adds are rediculous so I am transfering onto paid hosting and running it my self, the site has 92 regular members(visitors) and a steady flow of new people who somtimes stay sometimes leave the same day.

Anywho, enough of the background information, I am currently waiting for my nochex account to clear hence, I have not paid so dont have the host yet, hence, I am only designing the new site, i am currently running PWS on my computer to help me preview my sites, I have installed PHP and mySQL perl etc... (just so I can preview).

I have got the main design done with the headers and footers for phpBB2, anywho, I am wanting to install a support like script(php) and was wondering:

Which one would be best, and if posible could someone explain to me how could get the (php) script to acces the users of phpBB2 instead of them having to sign up again, If somone could help it would be greatly aprechiated. However, I am not willing to pay for the script, If I am paying for hosting I dont really want to shell out more cash on a site I run at a loss, to end up beeing a money pit.

you want to transfer your users from ezboard to phpbb2 right?
well phpbb2 isnt stable yet, i would suggest wait till its stable

well i heard somewhere if you go and email ezboard and ask em for your database info they will send it to you, then you would need to ask on the phpbb2 message board and on the mod message board for phpbb2 and see if there is any ezboard to phpbb2 hacks out there and it will import your members and posts
