    web hosting for FREE

    i need to set up a simple website for my band with a few pages for information. i@ve allready purchased the domain name and now i need to find some free or really cheap hosts can any1 help i'm rather desperate?

    Domains are cheap, nit. Try www.cyberwings.com, though. REALLY Cheap webhosting, 6gb 100megs, under 10 bucks a year!!

    Will you, please stop saying that. Domains cost $9.95 PER YEAR. Decent webhosting costs $10 PER MONTH. Notice the difference?

    actually I can get decent hosting for 6.00$ a year at cyberwings. And there is no down time that I have found.

    The thread starter has asked for free hosting, so what's so difficult to understand here? So, he BUYS a domain. That doesn't mean he necessarily has spare money to use for paid hosting.

    So only replies for free hosts from now on please.
