    Password protect folders on my computer

    Is there any software that can do this? I want to prevent certain people from accessing certain folders...

    Yes, by using compressed folders. Use Window's compressed folders, right click to choose encrypt folder.

    Find a program on the internet that protects folders. There is probably a bunch.

    It will only work if compress folder is installed. On windows 9x, you may use Winzip and or ms plus 98. on Windows ME, 2000 and XP, its on Add-remove programs. You may also use WinZip on that plattforms. If you dont want to zip the folder, then, you may use desktop.ini (just like .htaccess on linux). It will only work on FAT32/NTFS file system. It should work.
