    Buying a Cd-Rw

I am planning on buying a new cd-rw drive. external or internal- it doesnt matter.

Can anyone recommend some good name brands, and good places to get them online.

I want something that is fairly good quality, but is reasonable in price

Well I wouldn't get anything above a 16X burner unless you have a good computer, if you want to go with something a little slower I find the cheapest prices at computergeeks.com those prices at dell are ok but better can be found just browse around pricewatch.

    That's a lot of money.

    But really fast.

I didn't know they had ones that fast yet.

Can you even get CD's that burn at that speed? I have a mate with a 24 speed burner; and it's impossible to find CD's that burn that fast.

Take a look at CDRLabs.com Forums. Sony burners are also very good, got mine Sony CRX160E for a half year ago. Not any problems.

Check out Cyberdrive's CD Writers... they are the best on the market in my opinion.

Buy 32x10x40 Plextor or 40x12x48 Teac. The best recorders.
