Use 1280x1024 like me, you'll have more space than you know what to do with.
I just switched over from 800x600 and its incredible!!! So much more space! I can run 2 applications, half a screen each, and still see all the options! Amazing! If you havent done it yet, switch over now!!!!!!

yea, but then you cant read.

It really isn't. I have been using 1280X1024 and it is just fine.... but 1600X1200 is something I can't understand... people who have 19 inch monitors using that resolution is just crazy.
That resolution rocks!
Note: You must have 0/0 vision to see it.

ROTFLMAO
Well.... 1600X1200 would be way too small for me.... I would have to use large icons and everything and even that would be hard to see.

A regular 36" TV isn't capable of anything more than 800x600.
Give me a 21" monitor and I'd be using 2048x1536.
