Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that called a desktop theme? That can make things look like Windows stuff.i heard some one say that i can install linux on a pc and get a software that makes every thing look like windows.
1. Windows emulation isn't exactly fast, if you're going to run high-end Windows software, why not just do something called a dual-boot? You can mount FAT32 drives while running your *nix os
2. Emulation is emulation--it's fake. It doesn't guarantee compatibility.
3. You may want to turn to a VPC, it can be just as slow.
4. If its for popular software packages, why use software packages like MS Office when you have stuff like KOffice readily availible?![]()

Linux is good, windows is good
windows+linux is not right. They are things you don't mix together. if you want one you get it, if you want the other you get that, if you want both you don't mix them together. I do not like emulators for the sort of thing.
If you want everything that is good about linux, and all the ease of use of windows, an emulator will give you none of this.
I think dual-booting is your best option.

I agree with everyone else. Set up your computer to Dual Boot with Linux and Windows.
