Good stepping stone to make your site bigger and better.
Take your table, get rid of the border, and make the cell background a light color or something that your links will easily show up on.

OK...
It's good as a first site, and looks like it has promise. however, I would recommend making the cell backgrounds a light color (like light grey) so that the text and links will show up easier.
You will want to try Arial fonts with your links and text, but not excessively bold Arial. The lighter table backgrounds should help the text stand out more.
Also, instead of having the text centered and so far down the page that it is hard to see, try putting it into a table that resizes with the browser window (ie instead of a set number of pixels, say, 80% or 70% or whatever percent you want).
You don't have to sacrifice your design and "eXtreme" feel just to make it look neater. No borders on the tables would be nice, and a few graphics...like a logo, or beveled thumbnails...
Yeah, its pretty much a basic table by table site. Not bad. Nice.
