Hello, I am the idiot/saint/retard/god who runs http://www.come2store.com - I've been called just about everything, especially lately. Anyway, I've seen a lot of discussion on my service on these forums, so I figured I had better get myself a username here and post.

To answer the question that seems to be on all my user's minds: Come2Store is up for the long haul. You are safe to sign up again and upload your files all over again. I know it's a hassle, but I've had almost no sleep in these last 3 days trying to get the problem fixed. We're up now, and I'm not letting any idiot host come and take us down again.

it's good to hear C2S is coming back again
Good news all! Many of Come2Store's files are back! I finally hit an admit who would do something for me, and he somehow restored a portion of the old hard drive. About 30 GB of the old 65 were restored.
An old copy of the database was available as well. All you have to do is log in, and it will tell you if anything from your previous account was restored. You may not even have to sign up again!
And another good note is I called 'em up and made sure the download speeds were as they should be. They did something, and now they're blazing fast. This is how I planned to have the service all along. Hopefully we've hit our last problem.
Hmm, says "1 files were restored from our previous Come2Store backups", yet when I click the download link it says there is no such file.
My apologies. You and 156 other files had the same problem. Anyway, I fixed it, and you'll be able to download your file now. I guess I was so excited I got some files back that I forgot to make sure it would work
Oh, no worries.
Was just curious as to why this was happening is all.

I hope it's just some downtime.
Seems all the problems have hit us up at once. My DNS server went down - I've changed it to a more reliable one, but I'm not sure when the changes will take effect across the internet. I'm hoping by tomorrow morning.
All your files and stuff are still there - I'm just waiting for the internet to work. If you want to login, you can still do it here:

You won't be able to access your downloads, but you can login to your accounts if you need to. Sorry for the delay.
