There is an image that looks like its on a layer? well it is misplaced. It covers some of the writing in IE
- yeah like spec already said, there is an image on a wrong place
i Think there is a little bug there
- use another font
- menu right: can you add vertical lines? you already have the top and bottom (hope you know what I mean)
EDIT: about that image, now I see that when you move your mouse over the links the image disappears and some links appear, but this on a completely wrong place (=not in the box on the right)
empty advertising space
Yes the image is on a layer. I don't know why it won't stay in the same place with some browsers. In the Mac version of IE it is perfect, but in NS and OmniWeb I have the problem you have on your PC (?)
Any suggestions of how to keep a floating box in the same place?

the only way it will look right in all browsers is to use tables instead of a layer
All browsers should render pages in the same way and floating boxes are pretty standard arn't they? Would someone please attach a screen shot showing how it looks...
Thanks

Is it possible to tie a floating box to a table somehow? Does anyone have any other suggestions of how to make the menus work the way they do now but without floating boxes???
Can someone please attach a screen shot of maccrazy.net so I can see the problem....
Thanks![]()

Maybe the images are in the right place and the text is not correctly positioned by Internet Explorer.

Try that instead.....

Nothing floating there and that's your problem. The image and a bunch of other stuff are positioned absolutely and hence aren't a part of the document flow.Originally posted by maccrazy

If it looks right to you it depends on the size of your browser window and not the OS.#Picture { position: absolute; top: 150px; left: 615px; width: 130px; height: 98px; visibility: visible }
You also have 3 <head> and a number of <body> and other peculiarities. Skip GoLive and clean it up by hand. I guess some CMS is also part of the mix and you may want to check its output.
Keep consistency with fonts. Times New Roman or Arial/Verdana?
Link the stuff you have flowing down the bottom of the page- it takes up so much room. That is what links are for!!!
Other than that, looks good! The pics are quite effective.

I realise there are a number of body tages etc. This is because I have included the pages. I have been told since I made the page that each included file can just be text. I forgot to change it the pages. ThanksOriginally posted by meow

How should I have them so they are not positioned absolutely? I want them to appear in the same place for every visitorIn the Mac version of IE, it stays in the same place no matter what size window it is
but in Netscape and OmniWeb it does as you mentioned, move around, depending on the size of the window.
