um, yeah, I suppose the question is pretty self explanatory, but I guess I'll go into this anyway. I plopped the latest version of Photoshop into my CD-ROM to install it. Upon closing it, I quickly learned that it did not want to close, that the light would flash for a few seconds before opening the drive up again. Naturally, this sucks ---. So I just tried to keep it jammed shut, which would eventually work, but then it wouldn't read the CD. So then I did the most brilliant thing possible.I tried to close it after I turned it off. (I know). Now there was no CD in it at this point, so I don't know if it would have read anything. I doubt it, but in any case, now I couldn't get the damn thing to open. I essentially jammed it in there. Well, I finally got it open after learning about the whole manual open thing...but now I can't get it to stay closed again. We've gone full circle. I would really like to install Photoshop.
How the hell do I keep this thing closed, while it will still read the CD?
